Mary “Nell” Gerrard, 93

Mary “Nell” Gerrard, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to her Lord on July 27, 2024

Nell was born May 15, 1931 to Isiah and Ella Taylor in Brewton, Alabama.

Nell was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband of 69 years, Paul W. Gerrard Sr.; and 13 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Peggy Vann (Gary) and Paul W. Gerrard, Jr. (Robin); grandchildren, Tiffany Weaver (Paul), Chris Vann (Marabeth), and Robert Dorety (Sharon); 15 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with Pastor Stephen Bolden officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor can be sent to Good Shepherd Hospice (450 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, Florida 33823).
