Mary Louise Morrow

Mary Louise Morrow quietly passed away in the company of her family on Monday, June 22, 2020. She spent the first part of her 85 years in Dallas, PA, where she was raised on a large dairy farm and apple orchard. After attaining her Nursing Degree at Pittsburgh’s Mercy Hospital, she married William Morrow in 1957. During a short stint in Clarion, Keith was born in 1960 and they settled in Glenville, WV for the next 22 years. Her roles there were as the Registered Nurse for Glenville State College and for the Gilmer County School System. After moving to Florida in 1986, she served as the assistant director for Haines City Healthcare Center until her retirement in 2008.

Mary was selfless, kind, and always put others before herself. She was the kind of neighbor we would wish to live beside. She was an active member of the Glenville United Methodist Church, choir, local and State 4-H, and All-Star Programs. Mary was also the chair of the Gilmer County Red Cross for many years. Her hobbies included her grandchildren, travel, gardening, and reading.

She is survived by her husband William of Babson Park, as well as her son Keith of Naples, FL. Her three grandchildren were her special joy and are Alyssa (San Francisco), Bryce (Chapel Hill), and Alex (Naples).
