Mary Mills, 92

Mary Mills of Bartow passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale.

She was born June 12, 1929 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to the late Joseph and Mary Luna; she has been a lifelong resident of the area. Mary was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Church of God in Bartow. She was a generous giver, a godly woman, and a strong prayer warrior. She loved her church and her family dearly.

Mary was preceded in death by her first and second husband; and children, Sharon, Joseph Lamar, Jr., Floyd, Gary, John Allen, and Paula. She is survived by her daughters, Fay, Edna, Diane, Theresa, and Denise; son, Wesley; 34 grandchildren; 83 great-grandchildren; and 41 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2022 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Steve Thurmond.
