Mary Margaret Levin of Indian Lake Estates passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.
She was born July 11, 1947 in Bristol, CT to the late Joseph and Margaret (Morgan) Comeau. She moved to this area from Pompano Beach in 2005. She was a longtime Lions Club member in which she was a past secretary, treasurer, and bulletin contest editor. She received the Lion of the Year award many times, and was a recipient of the Melvin Jones award. She served on the board of directors for the Florida Lions Camp, as well as the board for the Indian Lake Estates Library, and the board of directors for Race for the Kids Foundation in Lake Wales.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Gary Levin; daughters, Shelley Weems (Gary) of Calhoun, LA and Dianne Daks (Sean) of Lake Worth; sister, Shirley; brothers, John and Joseph; five grandchildren, Samantha, Jennifer, Madison, Benjamin and Zoey.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches (9321 Memorial Park Road, West Palm Beach, Florida 33412).
