Mary Magdalene Kelsoe

Mary Magdalene Kelsoe of Frostproof passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 22, 1928 in Kenansville, FL to the late Robert H. & Mary Etta Simmons; she came here in 1941 from Kenansville. She was a retired fruit grader for Ben Hill Griffin Inc and was a 62 year member of the Frostproof Church of God. She loved her family and her church.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Kelsoe in 2006 and a daughter, Sharon Joy Kelsoe. Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Kelsoe Cutts and husband, Glenn of Frostproof; sons, Carl C. Kelsoe of Staatsburg, NY and Joseph D. Kelsoe; brother, Willie Simmons of Inverness; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Frostproof Church of God with the family receiving friends at 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
