Mary Jane Hafler, 92

Mary Jane Hafler of Winter Haven passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at Life Care of Winter Haven.

She was born July 5, 1929 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to the late Thomas and Florence Holleran; she moved to this area from Pennsylvania in 2002. Mary Jane was a tax preparer and a regularly attended Saint Matthews Catholic Church in which she was very active. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and playing cards.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Burton Emery Hafler. She is survived by her niece, Patricia Ann Holleran of Vernon, New Jersey; nephew, Michael S. Holleran of Vernon, New Jersey; grandnieces and nephews, Tyler, Stephen, and Brianna; and great-grandnephew, Thomas.

A memorial service is being scheduled at Saint Matthews Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor can be made to the Santa Fe Catholic High School Scholarship Fund (3110 Highway 92 East, Lakeland, Florida 33801).
