FROSTPROOF--Mary B. Groover, 92, of Frostproof died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the Groves Center.

Born March 28, 1915 in Frostproof; she has been a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker and formerly worked with her husband in a fruit harvesting business. She was a charter member of the Frostproof Church of God and enjoyed sewing, cooking and family time.

Mrs. Groover was preceded in death by her husband, Mack A. Groover and 2 sons, Billy Mack & Fred Groover. Survivors include her daughter, Marjorie B. Garrard of Frostproof; sons, Leon W. Groover of Frostproof; Lonnie L. Groover of Frostproof; brother, Chester Meyer of Lake Wales; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 14, 2007 at the Frostproof Church of God with Rev. Carlton Anderson and Rev. Curtis Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
