Mary Lee Goodman

Mary Lee “Hazel” Goodman, 87, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at Grace Healthcare.

She was born July 21, 1930 in Attapulgus, Georgia to the late William Irvin and Leona (Cannon) Truluck and she has been a resident of this area for over 70 years moving here from Georgia. She was a retired Nurse for Polk General Hospital and the Lake Wales Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her son, John Goodman and her brother, Wayne Truluck.

Survivors include her daughters, Kathryn Reed (Boe) of Bushnell, Linda Casey (James Koepke) of Orlando; son, Jimmy Goodman (Helen) of Lake Wales; sisters, Lorene McConnell of Avon Park, Doris Williams of Avon Park , Pat Mayfield of Ft. Meade; brother, Lavonne Truluck of Winter Haven; 5 grandchildren; Angel Bowen,  Lee Goodman, Tracy Peacock, Stacy Panciello, Lydia Goodman; and 7 great grandchildren, Blair, Dylan, Trey, Marlee, Brianna, Abigail and Zachary.

Visitation will be held 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
