Mary Jean Monroe Foster

Foster, Mary Jean Monroe. Nov.1, 1933-Jan. 23, 2014 She passed away peacefully, receiving love and comfort from her children by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ethel (Dukes) Monroe, her brother, Edward Monroe, and her daughter Lisa Cole Spine.

Survivors include her children, Dean Davis of Bonita Springs, Phil (Ellen) Davis of Opelika, Alabama, Karen (Warren) Holzhauser of Ocala, Suzanne Cole Smith of Ocala, and Gary Cole of Tampa. Grandchildren, Bethany (David) Freeman, Matthew (Tiffany) Davis, Ben (Rachel) Davis, Aaron (Kari) Davis, JoAnna Davis, Sharon Davis, Kathryn Davis, Amy Davis, John Davis, Christie Davis, Deanna Davis, Kyle Davis, Laura Holzhauser, Nick Spine Jr., Alex Spine, David Spine, Amanda Smith, Jessica Smith, and Megan Smith. Great grandchildren, Michael Freeman, Daniel Freeman, Noah Freeman, Elena Freeman, Olivia Freeman, Melody Freeman, Ellie Davis, Emma Davis, Lydia Davis, James Davis, Porter Davis, Shepherd Davis, Hannah Davis, Cloe Davis, Elia Davis.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 10:30 AM Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof, and the graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
