Mary V. Farmer

Mary V. Farmer of Winter Haven passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

Mary was born May 25, 1930 in Babson Park, Florida to the late James L. and Flora E. (Richards) Whidden; and has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a homemaker and attended the Central Avenue Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed sewing, Crochet and going to yard sales.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Farmer; son, Theron Farmer and 2 sisters

Survivors include her daughters, Sue Kirkland of Lake Wales, June (Charles) Hammond of Winter Haven; sons, Leslie Farmer and Billy Farmer both of Babson Park; 11 Grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. David Durham officiating.

Interment will be held at Elam Cemetery in Ft. Meade. Family will receive friends Monday, January 28, 2013 from 10:00 AM until service time.
