Mary Edith “Edie” Ellis, 93

Mary Edith Ellis of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022, at her residence.

Edie was born in Brewster, FL on January 4, 1929, to the late Henry and Edith Boyles, and was a retired administrator for Citrus World. She was an avid golfer, fisher, and enjoyed cooking for her family and family gatherings. She loved her grandkids and great grandkids dearly.

Edie is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cleo Ellis, and sons Bruce and Terry Weeks.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Durham and husband John of Monroe, GA, her son Joe Ellis and wife Diane of Lake Wales, and her daughter in law Daphne Weeks of Orlando.
