WINTER PARK--Mary Jane DuBourdieu, 90, of Winter Park died of heart failure Wednesday, May 09, 2007 at the Winter Park Towers.

Born March 22, 1917 in Glen Garnock, Scotland; she came here from Lake Wales 11 years ago. She was a teacher/principal for the Gary, Indiana Public School System. She attended the First Presbyterian Church, was an 8 year member of the choir and a Sunday school teacher. She was a life member of the National Education Association and listed in the Who’s Who in Women in Education. She was a member of the Indiana Alumni Association for Indiana University; the Indiana State Teacher’s Association, National Historical Association and the Balmoral Club Daughter’s of Scotia

Survivors include her nieces, Denise McKenzie; Jackie Farnham; and Jean M. Johnston; and nephews, John Boyle and Terry McKenzie.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. David M. Rockness officiating.
