Mary Jane Crowley

Mary Jane Guiden Crowley 86, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at her residence due to complications of Alzheimer’s.

She was born July 19, 1931 in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Paul and Marie (Shernisky) Guiden and she has been a resident of this area since 1995 moving here from Orlando, Florida.  She was a retired Computer Programmer and a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Jane was a volunteer at schools and church and was a member of the Council of Catholic Women, Towerwood Capps Patrol and Towerwood Community Course. She was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1949.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Crowley, brothers, Michael, Paul and Richard Guiden.

Survivors include her Daughter, Carol Lynn Armel (Bernard) of Chicago, Illinois; Son, Robert “Bud” Jones (Patricia) of Babson Park; brothers, John Guiden (Virginia) of Schererville, IN; Raymond Guiden of Highland, IN; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Stout (Rob), Dr. Adam Jones (Giuliana), Alex Jones; 5 great grandchild, Rilee, Brayden, Kailyn, Ana and Samuel; several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. David Vargas officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
