Mary Carolyn Conner

Mary Carolyn Conner of Lake Wales, Florida passed away at home Wednesday, December 31, 2025, after a hard battle with cancer .

Mary was born March 8, 1940 in DeFuniak Springs to Rosa Lee & Terence Nelson Conner, she moved to Lake Wales in 1951.

Mary worked at Lake Wales police department for a total of 29 1/2 years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother & friend known for her kindness, generosity, and gardening.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 33yrs Bob Addie; her children, David Schofield (Martha), Carol Bemman (Rob) and Vance Smith; seven grandchildren, Dustin, Krystal, Robert, Julie, Sabrina, Tyler, and Conner; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Herbert & JW; and sister, Lois "Rene".
