Mary F. Churchwell

Mary F. Churchwell of Babson Park passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

She was born May 10, 1932 in Geneva County, Alabama to the late John & Nora (Cotton) McIntosh; and she came to the area from Samson, AL in 1976. She was retired from McCallister's Grocery in Babson Park and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed family time, cooking, sewing, watching old movies on TV and Paula Dean.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Churchwell, Sr and a sister, Kay Jenkins. Survivors include her two daughters, Mary Rials (Jose Joe Joe Santiago) of Babson Park and Barbara Holland (Tommy) of Lake Wales; two sons, Bill Churchwell of Enterprise, AL and Jerry Churchwell (Tammy) of Samson, AL; one sister, Shirley Kelly of Clewiston; eight grandchildren, David Churchwell, Chad Adaway, John A. Rials, Brandon Johnson, Blair Johnson Fitts, Lee Churchwell, Erin Holland and Luke Churchwell; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 until the memorial service at 6:00pm, Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
