Mary Brown

Mary Brown of Frostproof passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 at The Groves Center in Lake Wales.

She was born April 25, 1920 in Lobelville, Tennessee to the late Lloyd & Birdie (Forrester) Wheat; she came here from Sylvania, Ohio in 1981. She was a retired school bus driver from the Ohio School Board and a member of the First Christian Church of Frostproof.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Brown. Survivors include her daughter, Pat Babcock of Frostproof; brother, George Wheat of Dickson, TN; grandchildren, Tracey & Gil Gardner of Charlotte, NC, Todd Babcock of Toledo, OH and Scott Babcock of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 until services time at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 2, 2009 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
