Mary Alice Britt

Mary Alice Britt of Lake Wales passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at her residence.

She was born May 21, 1942 in Lake Wales to the late Lee & Gladys Henderson; and she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Refuge Baptist Church. She enjoyed being with and taking care of her family.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Britt. Survivors include her daughters, Elisa & Melton Goff of Lake Wales and Christine & Pete Meyers of Lake Wales; sons, Scott & Ruby Britt of Lake Wales and David Britt of Avon Park; brother, Calvin & Ann Henderson of Lake Wales; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:30 pm until the funeral service at 3:00 pm Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Refuge Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
