LAKE WALES--Mary Beasley Jones, 78, of Lake Wales passed away Friday, November 9, 2007 at Dove Health Care in Lake Wales.

Born March 17, 1929 in Enterprise, AL; she came to the Lake Wales/Frostproof area as a child. She was a homemaker that was dedicated to her family and a member of the First Assembly of God. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing; and was a former Sunday School teacher. She also made afgans for her family.

Mary was preceded by her first husband, Jack Beasley Sr.; and parents, Louie Mack & Clyde Delilah Gunter. Survivors include her husband, Charlie Jones of Lake Wales; daughter, Melva Beasley & Rudy Arceo of Lake Wales; sons, Andrew J. "Jackie" Beasley II of Lake Wales; Jonathan I. "Jon" & Pam Beasley of Lake Wales; Lance Beasley of Lake Wales; step-daughters, Gail Douglas of Orlando; Ginger Jones of Vero Beach; Patricia Jones of Vero Beach; step-sons, Edward Jones of Panama City; Mike Jones of Panama City; Charles "Chuck" Jones of Austin, TX; Sam Jones of Vero Beach; sister, Josephine Gurtner of Kenner, LA; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
