Martin Joseph Gelinas, 59
Martin J. “Marty” Gelinas of Frostproof, Florida passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at his residence.
He was born April 6, 1960 in Waterbury, Connecticut to the late Rosaire and Antoinette (Landry) Gelinas. He was a Professional Driver for various forms of Public Transportation in Connecticut. Marty was of the Catholic faith and member of the Knights of Columbus and was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings and New York Yankees.
He is survived by his daughters Amy Bellemare of MD, Shannon Gelinas of IL, son Martin Gelinas, Jr and wife Luanna of Waterbury, CT, sisters Claire Ostlund of Lake Placid, FL, Denise Adamo and husband Joe of Holtsville, NY, Jackie Gelinas of Ft. Worth, TX, and 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Benjamin, Elijah, and Ethan.
Memorial service to be held at a later date.
