Martin San Miguel Gonzales

Martin S. Gonzales, 77, of Frostproof,   passed away at the Florida Hospital Heartland in Sebring on Sunday, April 16. He was born July 29, 1939 in Clay, Texas to the late Elias and Aurora (San Miguel) Gonzales.   He moved to Frostproof from Michigan 30 years ago.   He worked in the citrus industry as a truck driver and was a former member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park. He is preceded in death by his wife, Paula Gonzales; parents and brothers Reyes and Julian Gonzales. He is survived by his children: Martin Gonzales and his wife Patty; Elisa Gonzales; and Linda Smith and her husband Jace all of Frostproof: Sisters; Rosa Jimenez, Gloria Gonzales, Angelica Pena and Janie Gonzales: brothers; Manuel Gonzales, and John Gonzales: 6 grandchildren; Justin, Adrian, Chelsea, Marisela, Taylor and Alex: and 3 great grandchildren; Charlee, Talia and Waylon. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 27 at 11:00 AM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof.
