Martha Ruth Rainey, 66

Martha Ruth Rainey, a lifelong resident of Lake Wales, passed away on Monday July 18, 2022.

She was born on September 26, 1955, to the late Howard and Virginia Hartman.

She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed cooking, watching her soap operas, and taking care of her dog “Teddy.” She had a passion for the beach and going to places she had never been before.

Martha is survived by her husband of 30 years Kenneth David Rainey; her daughter Amy Maynor (Chris) of Jefferson, TX, and Betty Hayes of Lake Wales who was like a second daughter; her brother Johnny Hartman of Zephyrhills; and 2 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday July 25, 2022, from 5:00 PM until service time at 6:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
