Martha Jones Crawford

Martha Jones Crawford, 89, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Pruitt Nursing Home in Jasper, Georgia.

She was born on October 14, 1926, in Eastman, Georgia to the late Rufus and Georgia Jones and has been a resident of Marietta, Georgia for 30 years. She was a home maker and enjoyed golfing and bowling. Martha attended the Church of Christ in Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. Crawford in 1996 and her son, Sidney M. Crawford.

Survivors include her sons, Donald (Susan) Crawford of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Joe (Linda) Crawford of Woodstock, Georgia, Billy Crawford of Marietta, Georgia and Bryan (Renee) Crawford of Marietta, Georgia; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and sister, Lee (Ski) Bakowsky of Frostproof, Florida.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 14, 2016, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Rev. David Durham officiating.
