Martha Angold, 77

Martha Angold of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023 at her residence.

She was born November 12, 1945 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Homer and Sadie Lake; she moved to Lake Wales from Clarksburg in 1955. Martha was a school bus driver for the Polk County School District. She was a member of Harvest Church and the Polk County American Red Cross.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Angold in 2012; brothers, Robert Lake and Frankie Lake; and sisters, Frances Crews and Effie Craddock. She is survived by her daughters, Lorie Jones of Lake Wales, Reba Angold of Colorado, and Audrey England of Edgewater; sons, Thomas Jones of Lake Wales, and Michael Jones of Lake Wales, Burton Angold of Blue Ridge, Georgia, and Billy Angold of Denver, Colorado; brother, Henry Lake of Lake Wales; sister, Cathy Collins of Sebring; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Christian Harvest Church in Lake Wales with Pastor Robert McLean officiating.
