Mark Philip "Phil" Carl, Jr.

Mark Philip “Phil” Carl, Jr. of Lake Wales, Florida passed away after a short illness Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Hospice House in Auburndale.

He was born January 4, 1943 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; he has been a resident of the area since 2008, coming from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He was a retired Real Estate Executive for Rue 21. Mark enjoyed playing golf and going to the beach. He was of the Methodist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Philip Carl, Sr. and his son, Mark John Carl. He was survived by his wife, Barbara A. Carl; daughter, Amy Anderson of Elizabethtown, PA; son, Michael C. Woolford of Merlon Station, PA; step-daughter, Barbara Ann Salcito of the Villages, step-son, Frank D’Aprile of St. Cloud; mother, Alma Carl of Lake Wales; sisters, Jean Howell of Lake Wales and Julie Weed of Haines City; brother, Robert Carl of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 and the funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Lake Wales Cemetery.
