Mark Daniel McKinney, 64

Mark Daniel McKinney of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born February 28, 1957 in Pontiac, Michigan; he moved to Lake Wales from Michigan 28 years ago. Mark was a retired maintenance mechanic for Florida’s Natural and was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved playing the guitar and drums, hunting, and fishing. Mark was a grizzly bear that loved his family dearly. He was a great family man and friend to many.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, William Herbert McKinney. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Williams and husband Matthew of Lake Wales; sons, Michael McKinney of Streamwood, Illinois, and Mark McKinney of Lake Wales; mother, Baraca Gemmell of Michigan; brothers, Grant McKinney of Michigan, and Matt McKinney of Michigan; and grandchildren, Savannah McPherson, Hailey Williams, Dominique Williams, Shylynn McKinney, and Daniel Chandler.
