MARJORIE ANN FAIRBAIRN, 83

Marjorie Ann Fairbairn of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born October 13, 1931 in Watertown, New York to the late Carl George & Gertrude Mellon; and she came here from St. Augustine in 2003. She was a retired bookkeeper from Tioga General Hospital and Waverly School District; and she was a member and deacon of the Hope Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven. She was also a member of the Sassy Singers & Red Hatters of Tower Wood.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Allen T. Fairbairn; daughters, Lynn M. Cranmer of Sayre, PA and Linda A. White of Wurtsboro, NY; son, Paul A. Fairbairn of Gillette, PA; sisters, Shirley Huminick of Alaska and Marilyn Labosky of Milan, PA; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at 12:00 pm Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Tower Wood Clubhouse. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.
