SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Mr. Mario J. LoGuidice of Saddle Brook, N.J., a winter resident of Lake Wales, died of heart failure Sunday (Oct. 9, 2005) in Lake Wales. He was 78.

Born in New York City on Nov. 14, 1926, he became a winter resident of Lake Wales two years ago, coming from Saddle Brook, N.J. He was a retired installation repairman for Bell Telephone Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.

Mr. LoGuidice is survived by his wife, Patricia A. "Pat" Collins; daughters, Marie B. Byrne, Ramsey, N.J., and Joy Ann Taylor, Highland Lakes, N.J.; sons, Phillip LoGuidice and Raymond LoGuidice, both of New York, Edward LoGuidice, Glen Rock, N.J., and Wayne LoGuidice, Saddle Brook, N.J.; and six grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
