Mario Ducato

Mario Ducato of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at his residence.

He was born June 25, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and Jennie (Fontano) Ducato; and came here from Long Island, NY one year ago. He was co-founder of Stemar Industries, Inc. of W. Babylon, NY, was of the Catholic faith, and a member of the Peconic River Sportsman Club.

Mario was preceded in death by his son, John; and brother, Joseph. Survivors include his wife, Carmen; and sister, Dorothy Noviello of Freehold, NJ.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales with Father Anthony Bluett officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association (P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692).
