Marian MacIntosh Morrison, 93

Marian Morrison of Lake Wales passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at her residence, Waters Edge of Lake Wales.

She was born on July 18, 1930 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to the late W. Bruce and Lilly MacIntosh, but grew up in Miami.  Marian lived most of her adult life in Conyngham Pennsylvania, with summers spent in the nearby Pocono Mountains.  A truly kind, loving person with an infectious smile, Marian was a stay-at-home Mom who volunteered with many organizations, including Bok Tower, Meals on Wheels and the Literacy Council.  A long time member and lay-reader at her Episcopal Church, hiking, swimming, and especially photography were among her favorite interests.  She and her husband Clinton moved to Lake Wales from Pennsylvania more than 30 years ago.

Marian was preceded in death by Clinton G. Morrison in 2019, and by her brother and two sisters. Marian is survived by her three sons and their wives: C. Gilbert (Gil) and Kim of Spring Mills, Pennsylvania, Harold B. (Hal) and Louisa, of Longmont, Colorado, and Donald E. (Don) and Regiane of Henrico, Virginia.  She has seven grandchildren and many others who also called her Grandma.

A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Saturday, March 2 at 1:30 pm at Waters Edge of Lake Wales.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bok Tower Gardens, Lake Wales Care Center, or your favorite charity.
