Maria Dejesus Nino

Maria DeJesus Niño, 71 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away, Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

She was born on April 2, 1947 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico to the late Guadalupe Perez, Sr. and Estafana Tobar and she has been a resident of this area since 1970 moving here from Texas. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe Perez, Sr. and Estafana Tobar; brothers, Delfino Perez, Sr., Sabino Perez, Sr., Bonifacio Perez, Sr.

Survivors include her husband Juan Nino Cordova ; daughters, Herlinda Nino of Lake Wales, Stephanie Nino (Kenney Browning) of Tampa, Jessica Denton (Brian) of Babson Park, Eva Nino of Lake Wales; sons, Juan H. Nino ( Amber St. John) of Lake Wales, Porfirio Nino  ( Margarita) of Virginia Bch, VA, Adam Nino (Sandra Gonzalez) of Lake Wales; Joseph Nino (Billie) of Lake Wales; sisters, Isidra Nino, Felicitas Verduzco, Mary Perez Perryman, Angela Pena, Irma Perez, Rosa Bailey; brothers, Lupe Perez, Jr. and Joe Perez; 9 grandchildren, Liliana Flores, Mariana Flores, David Flores, Jr., Marissa Nino, Porfirio J. Nino, Stephanie Browning-Nino, Kendra Browning-Nino, Gavin St. John and Adelita Nino.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 31, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Johnson-Nelson-Gill Funeral Home Chapel, 322 North Scenic Highway, Lake Wales.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Memorial Gardens.
