Maria Garza

Maria Garza of Frostproof passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring.
She was born November 15, 1947 to the late Francisco Solis and Maria Ortiz; she has been a Frostproof resident for many years, coming from Texas. She was a homemaker and attended the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Garza and son, Jesus Garza.
Survivors include her daughters, Adelita Serna of Frostproof, Valentina Perez of Frostproof, Maria Gonzalez of Frostproof Lorena Sanchez of Frostproof and Angelica Chavez of Bartow; son, Guadalupe Garza, Jr. (Gloria) of Texas; numerous brothers and sister; 35 grandchildren, including Jessica Balleza and Jennifer Garza and 40 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof.
