Maria Garcia Castor, 92

Maria Garcia Castor of Frostproof passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Advent Health Sebring.

She was born April 27, 1928 in Loreto, Mexico to the late Martin and Maria Garcia; she settled in Frostproof 35 years ago. Maria was a homemaker and attended Saint Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Gamez, Sr.; and daughter, Alicia Guijarro. She is survived by her daughters, Aurelia Gonzalez of Lakeland, and Maria De Jesus Benavides; sons, Jose Luis Gamez, Geronimo Gamez, Anselmo Gamez, Pedro Gamez, Jr., and Fernando Gamez; sisters, Vicenta Garcia, and Maria Garcia; brothers, Ines Garcia, and Paulin Garcia; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held.
