Margarette C. Goff

Margarette C. Goff of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

She was born July 23, 1922 in Alabama to the late Henry Wiley & Minnie Henderson; she came here from Alabama as a child. She retired from Donald Duck after 44 years and was a member of the First Assembly of God. She loved fishing and camping and was an Atlanta Braves fan.

Margarette was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Robert Goff in 2004. Survivors include her daughters, Gwen Mauldin of Frostproof, Ann Bleichert (Bill) of North Port and Dale Jean Conklin of Crestview; sons, Lamar Goff (Linda Sue) of Frostproof, Melton Goff (Lisa Ann) of Lake Wales and Cary Goff of Petersburg, VA; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday, December 2, 2011 and the funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Walter Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
