Margaret "Penny" Blue

MARGARET REA MURRAY BLUE, 71
Margaret “Penny” Blue of Auburndale, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Winter Haven Hospital.
She was born December 23, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late William L. and Edna R. (Johnston) Murray Sr. She has been a resident of the area since 1973 coming from Deptford, New Jersey. She was in Sales for Superior Heating and Cooling. She attended Impact Church. Penny was a volunteer at Winter Haven Hospital, supporter of the dance community. She enjoyed music and was a joy to be around, she never met a stranger and was an avid supporter of all her grandkid’s activities.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ricky Lee Blue Sr, and brother William Murray.
She is survived by her daughters Tracy Holloway (Jon Hendry) of Lake Wales, FL, Sherry Blue (Scott Peer) of Auburndale, FL, sons Michael Higbee (Kami) of Auburndale, FL, Brian Higbee (Crystal) of Lake Wales, FL, Ricky Blue Jr. of Bartow, FL, Erick Blue (Lauren) of Lakeland, FL, sisters Karlina Prier of Pulaski, TN, Kim Murray of Pulaski, TN, Kamala Dale of Pulaski, TN, brother Robert Murray of Florida, 25 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at Impact Church Saturday, January 4, 2020. Time to be announced.
