Margaret Mary LaSalle, 77
Margaret “Peggy” LaSalle of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Monday, October 7, 2019 at her residence.
She was born January 3, 1942 in Queens, New York to the late Frank W. and Mary E. (Gilchrist) Golemme. She has been a resident of the area for 34 years coming from Hollywood, Florida. She was a Secretary for the Polk County School Board and of the Catholic faith. Peggy enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Rocco LaSalle Jr., son Rocco LaSalle III, 2 brothers Tommy and Frank and sister Pat.
She is survived by her daughters Patricia Sells and husband Dave of Lake Wales, FL, Peggy Jackson and husband Bur of Lake Wales, FL, Ellen Verdile and husband Tom of NY, sons Richard LaSalle and wife Genia of Lake Wales, FL, Michael LaSalle and wife Dedra of Highland City, FL, 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with interment at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
