Margaret Mary Maxwell, 91

Margaret Mary Maxwell of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 her residence.

She was born May 19, 1929 in Cimarron, New Mexico to the late Aurelio and Carmelita Martinez; she came here from Miami in 2017. Margaret was a retired store manager for a retail store and was of the Baptist faith.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin E. Maxwell in January of 2018; and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Benedict and husband Bennie of Lake Wales, and Linda Cahill of Wauchula; sons, Kenneth Maxwell and wife Jill of North Carolina, Patrick Maxwell and wife Miriam of Chicago, Illinois, Douglas Maxwell and wife Connie of Florida and Calvin A. Maxwell of Lake Wales; sisters, Bella Brewer of Cimarron, New Mexico, and Rebecca Coca of Cimarron of New Mexico; brother, Charlie Martinez and wife Pat of Albuquerque, New Mexico; eleven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2020 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
