Margaret K Dillon

January 12, 1934 — June 12, 2015

Margaret K. Dillon, 81 of Lake Wales, the Lord reckon her home in to His presence on Friday, June 12, 2015 while at Lake Wales Medical Center. Our hero she has fought a good fight, she has finished her course and she has kept the faith II Tim 4:7.

She was born January 12, 1934 in Ghent, West Virginia to the late Orville W.and Mary S. (Sweeney) Kibbee. She graduated from Trap Hill High School Class of 1952 Salutatorian. She has been a resident of Saddlebag Lake Resort since 1988 coming from St. Albans, West Virginia. She was a retired secretary for Union Carbide Chemical.

She was a strong supporter of Christian Organizations at the national level. She attended Saddlebag Community Church. Margaret, a sweet, precious, loving, caring, generous and giving woman! Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister –n- law Margaret was an excellent homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a square dancer for 14 years nationally. And was an avid baseball fan of the Cincinnati Reds, and a Rosie Red Cheerleader for their team. As a “Saddlebagger” loved bingo and activities over the years.

She is preceded in death by her brother David Kibbee.
Her family survivors include her loving husband of 64 years Ocus E. “Matt” Dillon , daughter Beverly Dillon-Petruschke of Pompano Beach, FL, son Randall E. Dillon and wife Diana of El Paso, IL; 2 granddaughters Kelli and Jessi, sister-in-law Theresa K. Bush and husband Pastor David Bush of Hurricane, WV.

Your family appreciates the strong faith and love for Jesus Christ you have always shown us. We’ll miss you honey, mom, maw maw and sister… Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints. Psa. 116:15

Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the fall at the Saddlebag Community Church.

In lieu of flowers donations in Margaret’s memory can be made to the Lake Wales Care Center, concerned Women of America or American Bible Society.
