Margaret “Lynn” DeZarn, 78

Margaret “Lynn” DeZarn of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

She was born December 4, 1944 in Danville, Illinois to the late George and Betty DeZarn; she moved to Lake Wales from Illinois in 1976. Lynn was a Store Manager for Kmart for 28 years, then was a machine operator at Florida’s Natural for over 15 years before retiring. She was a member of the Lake Wales VFW, Lake Wales Moose Lodge, and Lake Wales Elks Lodge. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.

Lynn was preceded in death by her sister and two brothers. She is survived by her son, Robert “Bob” DeZarn of Lake Wales; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
