Margaret Sarah Crosby, 92

Margaret Sarah Crosby of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 in Sebring.

She was born December 19, 1928 in Hialeah, Florida. Margaret was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Lake Wales. She was the coolest, most fabulous 92-year-old there ever was. She was an amazing cook and great biscuit maker. She enjoyed sewing and was a member of the Eastern Star in her earlier years.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Crosby in 2002; daughter, Linda Arsenault in 2020; and grandson, John Crosby (Debbie) in 2019. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Dodd (Mike) of Bartow; Jr Crosby (Vickie) of Lake Wales; brother, Bill Greenhaw (Elaine) of Miami Springs; sisters, Arlene Stafford of Lake City, Frances Morgan of Miami, and Nina Raley of Crowville, Louisiana; grandchildren, Nick Crosby (Rebecca), JD Dodd, and Anna Dodd; and great-grandchildren, Clay Crosby, Eli Crosby, and Allyson Crosby.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 24, 2021 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Pastor Reed officiating.
