Marcos Antonio Orozco, Jr.

Marcos Antonio Orozco, Jr., who was known as Cholo, was born on May 18, 2008, in Winter Haven, Florida, and passed away on April 19, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. He was a young man who brought joy to everyone who knew him. Marcos was known for always having the perfect mustache and a very happy personality that brightened the lives of those around him.

From a young age, Marcos showed many interests and passions. He enjoyed fishing and was a fan of basketball. Music was a big part of his life, and he could almost always be found listening to his favorite songs with earbuds in. Marcos was baptized at St. Ann Catholic Church as a baby. More recently, he was an active member of the youth group at New Hope Church in Frostproof. His faith and involvement in the church brought him comfort and friendship. He had a huge appetite and a lovable nature that made him beloved by everyone.

Marcos is survived by his mother, Shawna Garcia of Frostproof, and his father, Marcos Orozco of Mexico. He is also remembered by his many siblings: sisters Viviana, Reyna, Anayeli, and Alexandria, and brothers Miguel, Hector, Tristen, and Israel, as well as his niece Eliana.

Visitation will be held on May 1, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. The funeral service will follow on May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Church, 825 County Road 630A, Frostproof, Florida. Interment will be held at Silver Hill Cemetery after the service.
