Mae Rufa

E. Mae Rufa of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Dove Health Care.

She was born September 18, 1922 in Dyersburg, TN to the late Augusta and Mary Louise (Mustain) Vaden; she came here from Tampa in 1995. She was an accountant for Today's Temp Agency and attended the Trinity Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo and slot machines.

Mae was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Johnson, second husband, Philip Rufa and a daughter, Carolyn Johnson. Survivors include her son, Frank Johnson (Virginia) of Lake Wales; two grandchildren, Patrick & Keith; one great-grandchild, Cory; three nieces and one nephew.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 am Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. The graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
