Madeleine Irene Boucher

Madeleine ”Maddie” Irene Boucher, 75 of Frostproof, FL, best friend, wife and companion of Jerry for 23 years, was called home by our Lord on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Florida Hospital Celebration.

She was born on July 12, 1940, in Leominster, MA, to the late Edmond Eugene and Irene Eugenie (LaChance) Lamoureux and she has been a resident of this area since 2003, moving here from Athol, MA. She was a retired first grade school teacher for the city of Gardner, MA, for 38 years.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine LaFond and her brother, Edwald Lamoureaux, of Leominster, MA.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Gerald “Jerry” Boucher; nieces and nephews Cheryl Lamoureaux-Ledden of Wakefield, MA; Kevin Lamoureux of Templeton, MA; Lynn Malanson of Punta Gorda, FL; Joan Pantano of Leominster, MA; Jane LaFond of Leominster, MA; brother, Alcid Lamoureux of Leominster, MA.

Maddie loved music. She was a very active member of the Holy Spirit Choir for 12 years. She was also actively involved in the production of the annual Lily Lake Variety Show. She was the director of the Lily Lake Chorus. She and Jerry were active RVers and active participants in Chapter 49 of the Holiday Rambler RV Club. She will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held 10:00am Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Lake Wales, FL, with Fr. Glenn Charest officiating. Interment will be held at the Athol Cemetery in Athol, MA.

Family will receive friends on Friday, October 9, 2015, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, 454 S. Buck Moore Rd, Lake Wales 33853.
