CHESTER  “MACK”  PADGETT,  84

Chester “Mack” Padgett of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022 at his home.

He was born January 3, 1938 in Lokosee, FL to the late Crow and Mary Ethel Padgett; he was a long time resident of the area.  He was a cattle rancher all of his life and worked on JMC Ranch for the last 53 years. He was a lifelong supporter of the youth of our community with the 4H and FFA. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends helping them in any way he could. He was a true Florida Cracker. One thing he enjoyed was training and riding cutting horses.

Mack was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Padgett and his daughter, Brandi Padgett. Survivors include his daughters, Karen Bowers of Winter Haven and Lisa Manley of Lake Wales; four grandchildren, Amber, Travis, Harley and Layton; and two great-grandchildren, Payton and Neveah.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
