Mabel Gertrude Latulip

Mabel Gertrude Latulip of Nalcrest passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born June 5, 1929 in Union Town, PA to the late Virgil and Viola (Farmer) Sams; and came here from North Miami 21 years ago. She was a Junior Accountant for Eastern Airlines, a member of the First Assembly of God, volunteered at the Circle of Friends, a former Choir Director of Vespers, and she loved gardening. She also was a watercolor artist, sang and played the piano and organ, enjoyed the beach, swimming, and camping.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years and 9 months, Fred Latulip; daughters, Cynthia Kuefler of Ocala, Lynda Latulip of Plantation; sons, Bruce Latulip of Plantation, Richard Boychuk of Micco; sister, Rosemary Hammond of Boynton Beach; brother, Bert Sams of Shreveport, LA; four grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the First Assembly of God, Lake Wales, with Rev. A.J. Steverson officiating. Visitation will be at 2:00 PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Circle of Friends Ministry, P.O. Box 1004, Lake Wales, FL 33859-1004.
