Mabel Edie

Mabel Edie, 85, of Lake Wales passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born August 9, 1925 in Bellaire, OH to the late Joseph & Edna (Taylor) Corbett; and came here from Luna Pier, MI in 2001. She was a retired nurse for the Massillon State Hospital in Massillon, OH and was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed reading, playing Bingo and making candy.

Mabel was preceded by her husband, William Edie, son, Mark Craven and parents. Survivors include her sons, David B. Craven of Lake Wales and Richard J. Craven of Youngstown, Ohio; daughter, Mary Ann Craven of Lake Placid; 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
