LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Mable Jewel Binkley of Lake Wales died of heart failure Thursday (Sept. 29, 2005) at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. She was 76.

Born in Imboden, Ark., on Sept. 29, 1929, Mrs. Binkley came to Lake Wales from Walnut Ridge, Ark., in 1963. She was a retired grader for Citrus World. She was a Baptist.

Mrs. Binkley was preceded in death by her husband, MacDowell Binkley. She is survived by her daughters, Geraldine Bair, Winter Haven, Debbie Crow, Babson Park; sons, Donnie Mac and Eloise Binkley, both of Babson Park, Jimmy Deu Binkley, Lake Wales; nine grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Lake Wales. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
