Lynell Scruggs, 83

Lynell Scruggs of Frostproof passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at Advent Health Lake Wales under the care of Vitas Hospice.

She was born February 13, 1938, in Wauchula to the late Herbert and Louise Murphy.  Lynell was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Lynell was preceded in death by her husband, Preston J. “Tony” Scruggs and granddaughter Tiffany.  She is survived by her daughter, Kay Marie White of Frostproof; and sons, William A. Scruggs and wife Teka of Frostproof, and Herbert D. Scruggs and wife Debbie of Frostproof. She was the proud grandmother of Chris, Candace, Brandon, Justin, Kasie, and Katie, along with 14 great-grandchildren.
