Lynda Colligan Freed, 76

Lynda Colligan Freed of Frostproof passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at her residence.

She was born January 12, 1944 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Helen Colligan; she came here from North East, Pennsylvania in 2009. Lynda was a retired owner an operator of an ice cream parlor and restaurant. She was a member of Sunray United Methodist and loved to sew and knit. Lynda taught all of her children how to sew and knit, and she loved her plants. She collected lighthouses and loved cats.

Lynda was preceded in death by her first husband Peter Lawrence Wojcicki. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Richard Freed; daughter, Lindy Wilcox; sons, Peter John Wojcicki and wife Rachel of Fletcher, North Carolina, Andrew Wojcicki and wife Lauren of Jacksonville, and Joseph Wojcicki; sisters, Sandra Whitford of Lakeland, New York, and Judy Jolly and husband Frank of Jacksonville; brother, Paul Colligan and wife Patty of Tygard, Oregon; and five grandchildren.
