Lyall Peterson Thomas

Lyall P. Thomas of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Grove Center in Lake Wales.

She was born April 12, 1923 in Duluth, Minnesota to the late Johann A. and Ester (Hedquist) Peterson; and she came here from Alexandria, Virginia in 1972. She was a homemaker, and a volunteer at the Lake Wales Medical Center for over 25 years, she loved to play the organ and was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Wales.

Lyall was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Thomas. Survivors include her son, Royce Thomas of Foxborough, MA; one granddaughter, Jennifer Willard and her husband Abbott of Portsmouth, NH

Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd with Rev. Thomas C. Seitz, Jr. officiating.
