Luther L. "Sonny" Taylor

Luther L. “Sonny” Taylor of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at his residence.

Sonny was born June 22, 1949 in Crestview, Florida to the late Luther L. and Virginia T. (Minger) Taylor, Sr. and has been a resident of the area for 5 years moving here from Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. Sonny was a self-employed contractor in Painting and Remodeling. He was of the Baptist faith, Sonny had a big heart and cared about everyone, He was a very hard worker, loved his family and was a good friend to many.

Survivors include his sons, Scotty Taylor of Orlando, Florida, Cole Taylor of Loganville, Georgia, Dusty Taylor of Tucker, Georgia; sisters, Dale Taylor of Florida, Lana Gill of Lake Wales; brother, George Taylor of Alabama and one grandchild

Memorial services will be held 6:00 PM Saturday, February 09, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. David Durham officiating.
